The Brooklyn Nets have had a good Summer League thus far, with two of the three members of the 2023 rookie class — Jalen Wilson and Noah Clowney — playing very well. Wilson in fact is a candidate for MVP, averaging 24.3 points and hitting 55.6% of his threes. Meanwhile, Keon Johnson has done so well that he’s gone from being a restricted free agent last weekend to earning a multi-year deal with Brooklyn this one. Yes, Dariq Whitehead has been a disappointment but as his coach has said it’s process for the 19-year-old coming off shin surgery.
