Mozgov excels again as Russia upsets Serbia in Eurobasket

Timofey Mozgov played another efficient game of basketball in FIBA Eurobasket Saturday as Russia upset Serbia, 75-72, in Istanbul.

Mozgov scored 11 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in 21 minutes, shooting 5-of-8 overall (no three's). In two FIBA games, Mozgov has now scored 31 points on 16 shots.

The Nets center went up against Serbia's Boban Marjanovic, the 7'3" Pistons back-up. Although Bobo finished with 19 and six, Mozgov proved more mobile, hitting big baskets late.

Russia now plays Latvia and Kristaps Porzingis Tuesday. As he did Friday, ex-Knick Alexey Shved led Russia with 22.
