Milton Doyle sets Long Island scoring record, records team’s first triple-double

It was a good night for the Nets two-way players Tuesday. James Webb III had six points and six rebounds in Brooklyn’s tough loss to Houston at Barclays Center. And out on Long Island, Milton Doyle had one the G-League’s best game this season, a 42-point scoring explosion inside a triple-double against Raptors 905, the G-League’s defending champs.

Doyle, the Nets 6’4” shooting guard, recorded the first triple-double in Long Island’s history scoring a career-high 42 points and adding 10 rebounds and 11 assists in 39 minutes. He shot 66.
