Milton Doyle had another big scoring night Friday but his Long Island Nets lost in overtime, 115-109, to the Wisconsin Herd at Nassau Coliseum. Doyle finished with 34 points in 40 minutes, shooting 12-of-28 overall and 9-of-17 from deep.
Doyle, who was the G-League Player of the Week last week, is averaging 29.3 points per game over the last four games, shooting 53.1 percent from deep in that stretch. Friday night was Long Island’s first loss in that stretch.
The 6’4” Loyola Chicago product was the game’s high scorer, besting Brandon Jennings who had 29 to lead the Herd.
