ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) T.J. McConnell made a 10-foot jumper with 6.5 seconds left, lifting the Philadelphia 76ers a 97-95 preseason win over the Brooklyn Nets on Saturday.
McConnell, a rookie guard, connected as the shot clock expired. He finished with seven points and six assists.
Jarrett Jack scored 20 points for Brooklyn, including a tying 3-pointer with 29.3 seconds left.
NETS: Thaddeus Young had a game-high 10 rebounds. ... Sergey Karasev scored seven points in his first game since suffering a knee injury March 10.
