Luis Scola with 17 and 9 as Argentina beats Lithuania in double OT

Argentina defeated Lithuania Wednesday, 86-85, in double overtime on a last second shot as the pace of pre-Olympic friendlies picked up in South America. The game was played in Buenos Aires, the Argentine capital.

The big news was the final shot of the game. Facundo Campazzo hit a fadeaway in the lane as time ran out in the second overtime to give Argentina the victory. Once again, the Nets' Luis Scola led the blue-and-white, with 17 points and nine rebounds. Scola is now averaging 17 points in five friendly games. He shot 5-of-17, including 1-of-5 from deep and handed out four assists in 35 minutes of action.
