Luis Scola leads Argentina with 27 in loss to Australia

A bad first half doomed Argentina in a friendly match against Australia in Buenos Aires Tuesday, but Luis Scola once again led the blue-and-white with 27 and seven. Australia won, 84-83.

Scola finished 10-of-16, including 2-of-5 from deep. he also grabbed seven rebounds. Manu Ginobili had 22, Andres Nocioni 13 points and 13 rebounds and Carlos Delfino seven and three. David Andersen, the longtime Aussie center, scored 20. Matthew Dellavedova has10 for Australia and Patty Mills seven.

In four friendlies, Scola is averaging 17 points, high for the Argentines.
