Long Island wins second straight in dramatic fashion, 128-127

The Long Island Nets scored the last five points of the game Thursday at the Nassau Coliseum, salvaging a win over the Capital City Go-Go, the Wizards affiliate, 128-127.

With 31.8 seconds left, the Nets were down 127-123 after Jordan McRae hit a free throw to complete a three-point play. Two seconds later, Theo Pinson, who had another big game for Long Island, hit two free throws of his own to close the gap to two. After McRae missed a fadeaway, Dzanan Musa grabbed the rebound and fired a pass down court to Mitch Creek who drove the lane, hit the layup to tie the game, then made the winning free throw.
