Long Island Nets win behind Alan Williams, Dzanan Musa, Mitch Creek

It was a big three — and a big 3 — that lifted the Long Island Nets past the visiting Greensboro Swarm Tuesday night at Nassau Coliseum.

Alan Williams, Dzanan Musa and Mitch Creek combined for 79 points and Musa knocked down a big 3-pointer with 2:28 remaining that sparked the Nets to a closing 9-0 run after Greensboro had cut an 11-point deficit to just two in Long island’s 129-118 NBA G League victory.

Musa, the first-round draft pick of the Brooklyn Nets who has been on assignment with Long Island, put the Nets ahead early in the fourth quarter when he finished a drive to the rim with a finger roll for a 101-100 lead.
