Under the theory that you can never have too many Plumlees, the Long Island Nets have traded for Marshall Plumlee, the 7-footer and younger brother of former Net Mason Plumlee.
The Nets acquired Plumlee from the Agua Caliente Clippers. In return, the Nets traded the 33rd overall pick in the 2018 NBA G League Draft which takes place Saturday. Prior to the trade, Long Island had six picks in the first two rounds, seven overall. The 33rd pick is a mid second rounder. The Nets retain the 14th and the 22nd picks in the first round as well as the 29th, 31st and 41st picks in the second round and the 67th pick in the third round.
