The Long Island Nets got healthier Wednesday and used the added depth to their advantage with a 116-88 NBA G League victory over the Grand Rapids Drive at Nassau Coliseum.
The Nets (18-7) had just seven available players Saturday in a loss on the road to the Capital City Go-Go, but got back Ismael Sanogo from a sore hamstring and Mitch Creek from a bout with illness.
Long Island was still without rookie guard Jordan McLaughlin, out since Dec. 22 with a strained left hamstring, while big man Kamari Murphy was sitting out a one-game suspension handed down for his role in an altercation with Capital City’s Devin Robinson on Saturday.
