The Long Island Nets returned from their own All-Star Break Thursday and blew out the Sioux Falls Skyforce, 130-108, at Nassau Coliseum. The Nets had eight players in double figures led by Alan Williams who had yet another double-double with 20 points and 13 rebounds.
The Nets are now 22-14 and in second place in the G League’s Eastern Conference behind the Lakeland Magic with 14 games to go. Long Island has never made the G League playoffs.
After a 10-day layoff, and without Mitch Creek who’s playing for Team Australia in Asia, Long Island needed a win.
