The Long Island Nets reportedly wound up with the G League rights to former Los Angeles Lakers power forward Colin Castleton Saturday after a series of moves that began with the team selecting Chandler Hutchison, a former first round pick, at No. 5 in the G League Draft.
Castleton, 24, is a 6’11” big who the Lakers waived 10 days ago in the team’s final roster cuts. Although he averaged only 1.5 points in 16 games for the Lakers last season, he had played well in G League as a two-way last year and in Las Vegas Summer League the last two years.
