The Long Island Nets had their previous game suspended because of water dripping on the floor. On Monday afternoon at Nassau Coliseum, the Nets could only have been so lucky.
The Nets (18-9) fell into an early 16-2 hole and never led as they took their worst loss of the season, falling to Raptors 905 by a 113-87 count.
Long Island saw its lead in the NBA G League’s Eastern Conference shrink to 1½ games over both the Lakeland Magic and Raptors 905, which improved to 17-11.
The Nets trailed 34-20 at the end of the first quarter and never got closer than 10 in the second half and lost their composure late in the game.
