it was the first time in a month —and the fourth time— all season that the Nets played before a paying crowd at home and although the Nets lost, the game was close.
Nets forward Lazar Hayward recorded a season-high and game-high 27 points with 10 rebounds and four assists in 41 minutes tonight, while center Egidijus Mockevicius (16 points, 11 rebounds) and guard Carrick Felix (13 points, 10 rebounds) each added a double-double for Long Island in the effort.
