It was a good all-around scoring game for the Long Island Nets but it all came down to one shot. Delaware Blue Coat Matt Farrell hit a contested layup over Nets two-way player Alan Williams with 0:01 left in the game to hand the Nets their second straight loss.
The game was played at the 76ers Field House in Wilmington.
Long Island shot poorly and generally seemed out-of-sorts. Overall, they went 6-of-29 from behind the arc (21%) and 42-of-100 (42%) from the field in the loss.
Mitch Creek, whose 10-day contract was terminated early to create a roster spot needed for the Greg Monroe trade, recorded 18 points, eight rebounds, and one assist in the loss.
