The good news is that the two Nets assigned to Long Island had good games Tuesday afternoon playing for Long Island. Anthony Bennett had 14 points on 5-of-10 shooting (3-of-5 from deep) to go along with eight rebounds and an assist. Chris McCullough finished with 22 points on 8-of-19 shooting (1-of-3 from deep) along with six rebounds and three assists.
The bad news is that the Long Island club lost again to the Windy City Bulls, 120-116, as a late comeback proved too little, too late. The Nets D-League affiliate is now 1-7, the worst record in the development circuit.
