It’s easy to overlook the Long Island Nets this year. The Brooklyn Nets have had such a strong 2018-19 season that many have forgotten about the G League team on Long Island.
If you don’t know much about the Long Island Nets, let’s start with G League Coach of the Year—Will Weaver. The first-year G League coach worked as an assistant for Brooklyn head coach Kenny Atkinson before taking over the Long Island outfit.
Will Weaver has been named 2018-19 #NBAGLeague Coach of the Year after leading @LongIslandNets to a 34-16 record, tied for best in the league!
