For the Long Island Nets, it’s a case of what happens in Uniondale will stay in Uniondale.
In their final game before heading to Las Vegas for next week’s NBA G League Showcase, the Nets nearly matched a season-low by shooting just 32.7 percent in a 110-101 loss to the Maine Red Claws at Nassau Coliseum.
The Nets trailed by as much as 15 points en route to the loss, hitting 35-of-107 from the floor and just 13-of-43 (30.2 percent) from 3-point range.
Long Island’s only worse shooting performance came early in the season, when they were 33-for-101 (32.
