The Long Island Nets welcomed the Westchester Knicks to the Nassau Coliseum for the second time in three days Tuesday. In the last meeting between the two teams, Westchester overwhelmed Long Island, 118-99. This time, Westchester again got the better of Long Island, 127-117 but it was nowhere near as dominating a performance by the Knicks.
This was a much more complete effort by Long Island after their offense fell flat in Sunday’s game against Westchester but Long Island is now 1-2.
The two teams exchanged baskets to begin the game until consecutive fouls on Long Island gave Westchester its first advantage of the game.
