With the parent Brooklyn Nets dealing with injury problems, there was no help available for the short-handed Long Island Nets Saturday night as the NBA G League affiliate dropped a 114-106 decision to the Capital City Go-Go at the Entertainment and Sports Arena in Washington.
Brooklyn has called up both of its players on two-way contracts, Theo Pinson and recently re-signed Alan Williams, and Long Island was also without Jordan McLaughlin and Ismael Sanogo with hamstring injuries, while Mitch Creek missed his second straight game with an illness.
