The Long Island Nets once again took their home court on Tuesday night against the Birmingham Squadron. Despite Long Island losing Monday night’s contest in heartbreaking fashion, Tuesday night would tell a different tale. The Nets got back in the win column, defeating the Squadron, 112-104. They are now 2-2 in the G League regular season after going 2-14 in the league’s Tip-Off Tournament.
This win came on another great display from Drew Timme. Timme has been one of the biggest pieces of Long Island’s offense thus far in the regular season. On Tuesday, Timme finished with 24 points with 14 coming in the fourth quarter.
