The Liberty broke another losing streak Saturday night in L.A., winning for the first time on the road in 18 games stretching back to last season. Joe Tsai’s team also won its third game in the last four —the Libs’ best stretch in two years— beating the Los Angeles Sparks, 98-92, before 11,388 at the Staples Center.
The game represented a big night for the Liberty’s 6’5” center Amanda Zuhai B. She finished with a career-high 37 points to go along with seven rebounds and three blocks. Zuhai B made 7-of-8 three’s and finished 13-of-16 for the night from the field.
