During the Nets’ sudden and surprising transformation into one of the hottest teams in the NBA, they’ve gone from second-half collapses to comeback kids. It’s partly due to players maturing, but also because of Kenny Atkinson’s growth as a coach.
“It’s probably both of those things, a little bit of both,” Atkinson said before the Nets’ most recent success, Wednesday night’s 114-110 win over the Magic.
“I think I have more confidence, a better feel for what we need to do and how we need to change. I think in the beginning I was very steadfast on staying with what we do, keep our principles.
