As one of the most active social media users in the NBA, Jared Dudley understands both its value and pitfalls.
The Nets veteran forward uses his Twitter account to engage with fans, offer free tickets, provide basketball insights and give his take on any number of social issues.
“You control what you want to put out there,” Dudley said Monday before the Nets hosted the Cavaliers at Barclays Center. “People can know about your personality, know how you do. I think it’s more positive than negative in the long run.”
But Dudley had no control over being on the receiving end of a social media barb this weekend at the hands of teammate Kenneth Faried.
