Just a year ago, Cliff Alexander was a Kansas-bound five-star recruit, and one of the five best players in the loaded 2014 recruiting class. After a brief, rocky Kansas career, Alexander was not selected in Thursday night’s NBA Draft. Now, he must try to latch on with a team and show out this summer if he wants to make a roster for the fall, which is no easy task. Alexander’s NBA career will reportedly begin with the Brooklyn Nets, who selected Syracuse’s Chris McCullough, and traded for Arizona’s Rondae Hollis-Jefferson on Thursday.
