There's reportedly a new (very rich) sheriff coming to Brooklyn.

According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski and Zach Lowe, Taiwanese-Canadian businessman Joseph Tsai is set to purchase a 49-percent stake in the Nets--with the ability to become controlling owner within a few years.

Here are six things to know about the soon-to-be Nets leader.

Alibaba co-founder: Tsai is an e-commerce mogul. The company, Alibaba, he co-founded is the sixth-largest internet company by revenue.

Net worth: Forbes estimated Tsai's net worth at $4.9 billion in 2016.
