There’s no ‘D’ in ‘Brooklyn Nets.’ Especially against bigs.
After ending the four-game losing streak against the Phoenix Suns last night, the Nets followed up with a disappointing effort in a 112-104 loss in Denver, Tuesday night. It was the second night of a back-to-back for the young Nets, a game played in the high altitudes of Colorado.
They hung around in the first half and appeared lucky to be down just 13 points at half. But then, Denver came out punching in the second half and it was all over. It was behind the lead of Nikola Jokic, who became the sixth player to drop 30 or more points against in 11 games against the Nets.
