On Sunday, former Brooklyn Nets shooting guard Joe Johnson returned to the Barclays Center. Johnson, now playing in the BIG3 professional league, hit the game-winning shot for the Triplets, who topped Tri-State 50-37.
After the victory, Johnson, 38, spoke to the media about returning to his old stomping grounds.
“From coming in the entrance to walking through this hallway obviously brings back some great memories, I had some great times here,” Johnson raved, per Ed Easton Jr. of Empire Writes Back.
Johnson played for the Nets from 2012-2016. Brooklyn became one of the seven teams he played for throughout his 17 year NBA career.
