Joe Harris scores 8 points, hits 2-of-4 three’s as Team USA advances, beating Brazil

Team USA officially qualified for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics on Monday -- and advanced to the quarterfinals of the 2019 FIBA World Cup -- by beating Brazil, 89-73, in Shenzen, China. Joe Harris, starting once again, played 24 minutes, scored eight points and shot 50 percent from the 3-point line. He was +16 in +/- for the game, second on the team.

It was the Americans’ fifth straight win. They will play France on Wednesday. The USA will likely face tournament favorite Serbia if they get by France.
