There will be Nets, plural, at All-Star Weekend.
Rodions Kurucs and Jarrett Allen were the first to get their tickets to Charlotte officially punched Tuesday night as they were announced as part of the Rising Stars Challenge. The game features the top rookies and sophomores in the NBA, with Kurucs on the World team and Allen on USA.
They will be the third set of Nets teammates to play in the event together, joining Bojan Bogdanovic and Mason Plumlee (2015) and Stephen Jackson and Kenyon Martin (2001).
Kurucs and Allen appeared to find out about the selection when it was announced over the big screen at Barclays Center on Tuesday during a second-quarter timeout of their game with the Bulls.
