Jacque Vaughn to remain with Nets, withdraws name from head coaching openings

One day after Ime Udoka was introduced as the new head coach of the Boston Celtics, Brooklyn’s lead assistant announced he’s remaining in Brooklyn.

Jacque Vaughn withdrew his name from head coaching openings due to family reasons, per Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

Vaughn is citing family reasons, including the chance to spend time with his two teenage sons as a primary reason for returning to Brooklyn for next season, sources said. https://t.co/Y924bF5Eq1
