The long-awaited HSS Training Center will open February 17, completing the final move in the Nets migration from New Jersey to Brooklyn.
The $50 million practice facility has been under construction since Draft Day in June 2014. The center's opening comes immediately after the end of the NBA All-Star Break and one day before the trade deadline. The training center is located at 168 39th Street in Brooklyn's Industry City, atop a century-old warehouse building a block from New York Harbor and with spectacular views of both Manhattan skyline and Brooklyn's brownstone neighborhoods.
Irina Pavlova, president of ONEXIM Sports & Entertainment Holdings, and David Carlock, a sports facilty consultant, spearheaded the site selection, finance and leasing of the center.
