The Long Island Nets took another tough loss Sunday afternoon, extending their losing streak to seven games as they fell to the Maine Red Claws, 116-114 in Portland, Maine.
Long Island is now 1-7 on the season, second worst record in the G League. The Nets have lost the past four games by five or less points. Each loss consisted of a fourth quarter comeback effort that ultimately failed.
Despite their loss, there were a couple of bright spots. The Nets had seven players finish in double-figures ... and that’s important. It is a development league, after all.
