Let's just move on from the month of January and never talk about it again.
The Nets capped off the month in which they lost their starting point guard, fired their coach, reassigned their GM and lost 13 games after a heartbreaking 105-103 loss to the Pelicans, Saturday night in New Orleans on the second night of a back-to-back.
It was fitting for the Nets to get their hearts ripped out and stomped on to close out the month of January, as Jrue Holiday nailed the game-winning shot with a second left.
It really couldn't get much worse than January, but at least things should be a little brighter in February and so on.
