Former UConn star Ryan Boatright was one of three players waived by the Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday as NBA teams start cutting down roster sizes in advance of the start of the regular season.
Boatright, who signed over the summer as a free agent, played more than 25 minutes in the Nets' 111-105 loss to the Celtics on Monday night, scoring 10 points and handing out five assists.
