Former Brooklyn Nets guard Tyshawn Taylor was arrested for using a counterfeit money order to gain $1,000 in cash at a supermarket in Hoboken.
Taylor, 25, turned himself into the police on August 6th after submitting counterfeit money to the Big Banner Food Store on May 18th.
Tyshawn Taylor reported refused to repay the money on numerous accounts, forcing store-owner Jiminez to ultimately press charges despite his long-standing relationship with Taylor’s family.
When we went to deposit the order they said it was fake. When we told him about it, he said, ‘Yeah, I’m going to come to pay it back.
