In its latest analysis of NBA teams’ finances, Forbes estimates the Brooklyn Nets valuation at $4.8 billion, up 25% over a year ago, moving the Nets into the eighth place out of 30.
The 25% jump is tied for second biggest in the league with the Milwaukee Bucks and Memphis Grizzlies. The Boston Celtics, winners of the 2024 Larry O’Brien Trophy, had the biggest jump at 28%. Also, after years of financial losses, Forbes estimates the Nets made $43 million in operating income in 2022-23 on overall revenue of $381 million, roughly 11%.
