Keon Johnson, the 21-year-old Nets two-way guard, continued his hot streak Wednesday night, scoring 19 in 31 minutes, but neither his efforts nor those of Kyler Edwards, his backcourt mate who had a season high 25 points, could prevent the long Island Nets from losing to the Capital City Go-Go, 110-106, in a back-to-back set at Nassau Coliseum.
Johnson, a 6’5” combo guard with 77 games of NBA experience, is averaging 20.0 ppg over the last five games, filling in for the team’s two other two-ways, Jalen Wilson and Armoni Brooks, who are with Brooklyn on their five-game West Coast trip.
