MIAMI — Youngsters D’Angelo Russell and Jarrett Allen were the best players in the game Tuesday night for the Nets, but it was veteran DeMarre Carroll who was the hero of their 104-92 win over the Heat at AmericanAirlines Arena.
The Nets (8-10) trailed by as many as eight in the third quarter, and 74-67 with 1:21 left in the period. But that’s when Carroll scored 10 of his 11 points in an 18-4 run that spanned the quarters and changed the game.
