DeMarre Carroll to undergo ‘procedure;’ Shabazz Napier, Allen Crabbe out

Kenny Atkinson told reporters after practice Tuesday that DeMarre Carroll who’s been troubled with ankle pain will undergo a “procedure” which he doesn’t expect to be serious.

That was the biggest, but not the only injury news out of the team’s last practice before they travel to Detroit later Tuesday for Wednesday’s opener vs. the Pistons.

Napier has been troubled by a hamstring injury; Crabbe by an ankle sprain.

That would mean at least 13 and possibly 14 of the 17 roster players (including the two two-way contracts) will be available for the Opener.

Carroll and RHJ of course started last year at the 3 and 4.
