The Olympics Opening Ceremonies are Friday night and the Games will begin with a twist. Rather than marching into the Olympic Stadium, national teams will sail four miles down the Seine, their flag bearers — including Germany’s Dennis Schroder — on the prow of each barge.
Then, Saturday, the Games of the XXXIII Olympiad will begin in earnest. For the fans of the Brooklyn Nets and New York Liberty, there will be a lot of watch on the networks of NBC.
