Dariq Whitehead, who on Friday told NetsDaily he’s close to 100%, had another solid game Sunday afternoon vs. the Westchester Knicks, scoring 15 points on 4-of-8 shooting, but his Long Island Nets were outscored 117-100.
Whitehead, who went 3-of-5 from deep, led five G League Nets in double-digit scoring at Westchester County Center in White Plains. He also recorded three rebounds. The Nets two other 2023 draft picks.
Noah Clowney and Jalen Wilson, finished with 12 points each. Wilson also gathered eight rebounds and Clowney blocked three shots. Brooklyn’s other two-ways besides Wilson — Keon Johnson and Armoni Brooks — had 14 each.
