HAPPY BIRTHDAY, D’ANGELO! NICE PARTY!!
Safe to say, it was a good birthday for D’Angelo Russell, starting his Jordan year by breaking hearts in Jordan’s house.
It wasn’t looking good for the Nets. They were on the wrong end of a 24-4 extended run and eventually fell down six with less than three minutes left. But then, DLo stepped up and carried the Nets to a huge victory. Huge.
It started with a floater to bring it to within four, followed by an eight-food mid-ranger from the corner. Ice time.
Russell went on to score the final 12 points and carrying the Nets to a 117-115 victory over the Charlotte Hornets, Friday night.
