It’s always amazing how Knicks fans, aided and abetted by certain pundits, can abandon one narrative and slip effortlessly into another when their team’s organization shows, once again, they are incompetent or worse incapable of running an NBA team in the league’s biggest market.
Before yesterday, Kristaps Porzingis was the lure that would attract Kevin Durant (a sure thing, of course) and give the team two superstars next season. Then, after Porzingis, a rare talent, told the organization he didn’t trust them and wanted out, a new narrative was adopted: Screw Porzingis!
