Comcast, YES Network in dispute ... and Nets go dark

As of midnight, sports fans in one million homes served by Comcast won't be able to watch the YES Network... and unless there's a quick resolution, Nets fans in New Jersey, Connecticut and Pennsylvania won't be able to watch the Nets and Hornets Wednesday night.

Talks on a new carriage agreement between Comcast and the Fox Sports-owned YES network broke down Tuesday, leading Comcast to pull the plug on the channel that airs the Yankees, Nets and the NYC Football Club.

YES is asking for a 33 percent fee increase, sources close to the talks told The New Yor Post.
