Cliff Alexander signs with Portland Trailblazers

Cliff Alexander, who went undrafted then played for the Nets in both the Orlando and Las Vegas summer leagues, has been signed to an NBA contract by the Portland Trailblazers, Alexander tweeted.

God has still found ways to bless me through the struggle. I am officially apart of the NBA & Trailblazer family pic.twitter.com/O69Jj5frhM

Alexander did not disclose any details of the contract. It's not known whether the Nets had offered the 19-year-old a training camp invitation.

After going undrafted, Alexander had 12 to 15 teams interested in signing him, his agent, Mark Bartlestein reported, but after looking at the rosters of the teams, he chose the Nets, believing their lack of depth upfront heightened his chances of making the team.
