TRENTON — Gov. Chris Christie's mockery of the NBA's decision to relocate its annual All Star game from Charlotte, N.C. as "grandstanding" in response to a state law that wipes out anti-discrimination protections for LGBTQ people has drawn a sharp rebuke from a New Jersey human rights group.
Last week, while serving as a guest host on morning drive show "Boomer & Carton" on WFAN, the governor wondered aloud if the NBA was "going to evaluate the laws in every state."
According to a report in the Asbury Park Press, statewide advocacy group Garden State Equality assailed Christie, saying "we deserve a better Governor.
