NEW YORK -- When Mike Francesa steps away from the microphone for good at WFAN on Dec. 15, there's a chance that he could be replaced in the No. 1 chair in New York sports talk radio by New Jersey Governor Chris Christie.
Christie's name has been floated in multiple reports as a successor to Francesa and the venerable sports talk host opened up about his potential successor Saturday at the fourth-annual FrancesaCon at Irving Plaza.
"I can't say what Chris Christie wants to do," Francesa told NJ Advance Media Saturday.
