The New York Liberty have brought the first professional basketball championship in nearly 50 years to the Empire State after defeating the Minnesota Lynx in Game 5 of the WNBA Finals, 67-62 in overtime.
Following a Game 3 victory that was instantly immortalized by The Sabrina Ionescu Shot, Game 4 went down to the wire and was capped by a pair of Bridget Carleton free-throws to send us to a winner-take-all Game 5.
